nytrixOS

An Arch-based live system by Nytrix Labs. 26.10.1 "Pumpkin" is a command line live ISO with:

• Lotus as the login shell (zsh as the fallback)
• Syrup (folder sharing) and scr (service runner)
• Nytrix Labs branding: boot menus with the logo, login banner, os-release, fastfetch

Boots on BIOS and UEFI x86_64. The live user is nytrix (autologin, passwordless sudo, no password). It is a live system only, there is no installer yet.

Test it in QEMU (UEFI):

Packages (pacman repository)

Lotus, scr and Syrup are available as Arch packages. Add to /etc/pacman.conf:

[nytrix]
SigLevel = Optional TrustAll
Server = https://arch.nytrix.xyz/$arch

Then sudo pacman -Sy lotus-shell scr syrup. The repository is not signed yet. The PKGBUILDs are in packages/.

Build it yourself

On Arch Linux with archiso and grub installed:

sudo mkarchiso -v -w work -o out profile

profile/ is an archiso profile (based on baseline). Branding and users live in profile/airootfs, the package list in profile/packages.x86_64, boot menu changes in profile/grub and profile/syslinux.
